About the Image(s)
Howdy everyone! Hope all are well and happy. I'm still doing a clean up job on phots. This one was taken a year ago, near the local park. "Morning Glories in the Morning". Opened and resized; used clone tool to get rid of elec. wires on upper left side. Thought about taking the fence out, but decided not because that's where the flowers are growing. Framed.

I like the way the morning glorys run along the top with a few accents down below, it's quite playful. The bits of red color complete the image.   Posted: 09/08/2023 21:31:57
Thanks, Jack, for your comments. That image seemed to yell at me to take the picture.   Posted: 09/17/2023 15:54:30
Agree with Jack's comments above. The blue/green scheme works well and the red "pops" of color create contrast/interest. Nice job removing the power lines! The scene has a chaotic/disorderly feel - that adds interest and makes it realistic/natural. I'm not bothered by the fence; but it does detract from a nature scene. Well done - keep going through those older image!   Posted: 09/10/2023 04:18:04
Steven, thanks for your comments. Although I go by this back yard still, I've not seen it look so good.   Posted: 09/17/2023 15:58:56
Hi Ruth,
I like your vision on photography! The images you captured are absolutely different than the norm. And best of all, they show that even the most ordinary things can look special at certain circumstances. They make me pause to think further about the story-telling you want to convey.
In this image, I agree with Jack and Steven that the red color flowers stand out from the blue color of the flowers and the sky. The fence there explains more why those flowers are so tall.
In my personal opinion, I'd prefer to have a bit of separation between the flowers and the tree behind.   Posted: 09/10/2023 09:20:54

Howdy, Kieu-Hanh Vu, Thank you for your comments. This is a very small back yard. I really don't know how I could put separation between the flowers and the tree, but I see your point.   Posted: 09/17/2023 16:03:38
Ruth, this image is all about the bright, happy colors you captured so well! They look better than any morning glories I ever shot, likely because of the scattered pops of red among them. Good job removing every trace of power lines. I'd have never suspected they once existed.   Posted: 09/26/2023 14:30:21
Thanks, Pat, for you comments. The sun was shining just right that morning to get the colors.   Posted: 09/27/2023 08:31:34
