Welcome to the Digital Dialogue Group #86
Subject - Phoneography: A study group for those taking pictures with smartphones and then processing the images with their smartphones. For the first time, we have both a camera and digital darkroom in the palm of our hands. Members will learn from each other: interesting apps, creative ways to use the apps and fun techniques with the cell phone camera. Smartphone photography is becoming a new exciting way for creative photographers to communicate and share their images.
"The iPhone has become a popular choice for many creative photographers, both professional and amateur. It's a convenient and powerful tool for creating unique imagery. With a rapidly growing number of photography apps, the possibilities are seemingly limitless"- Tony Sweet.

The images displayed on this website were created by members of the Photographic Society of America’s (PSA) Digital Dialogue Group #86. The creators of these images explain how they arrived at the final results by manipulating their photographs in a digital imaging program such as Photoshop. The images are presented for Group members to study and critique by offering constructive comments on the artistic merit, technical strengths and weaknesses of each image. In some cases, group members will post a rework of the image to demonstrate their suggestions.
Enjoy your visit to Group #86 and be sure to check back each month for a new set of images. For best viewing, your monitor should be set to a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768.
