I shot this image during a typical sunset here in the Central coast of California, in the late fall. I kind of liked the subdued layers of color and the two silhouetted trees in the foreground. I used Snapseed for some healing adjustments because of reflections of vehicles in the woods but the colors of the sky were pretty much as the original image.

The two foreground trees are essential to this, Wayne, being sharper. The resulting image has several layers. To me, it still calls out for a subject, could be anything, a bird, etc. But as so it accomplishes what you intended. Posted: 12/09/2025 23:02:57
