About the Image(s)
Shot this early am when I saw all these dew droplets on a flower bed in our backyard.I was struck by the complementary colors of yellow and purple petals.I tried to crop several times to eliminate the old brown stems and greenish stalks?I think drops are a bit soft due to several attempts at resizing.

It's hard to say what might have caused the softness in the final edit shown here, Wayne. I think one gets a better idea of what you were after in the thumbnail, and it does not nice complimentary colors and patterns, and the drops really make the image.   Posted: 07/10/2025 22:23:50
I like the colors/shapes -they create interest. I wish the right edge of the flower wasn't cut off. Regarding focus - agree that the image is a bit soft. I'm not familiar with Google Pixel and can't comment as to why that it. Is this a crop of a larger frame - if yes - can you post the original "out of camera" image? That may offer some clues as to what the phone locked focus on. If this is a tiny part of the original frame - and you upsized it for submission (you mention resizing - not sure what that refers to) - that could explain.

Hi Wayne,
The dew droplets created a beautiful display, especially on the flowers with mixed colors of yellow and purple. I agree with Jack and Steven that the droplets are soft and they make the flower look overexposed and blurry. I'd also prefer to see the petals in full.   Posted: 07/22/2025 01:17:35

I like your composition and the natural colors. The softness of the dew drops is a bit of a challenge. I don't know what could have caused it. Have you considered creating a reverse mask and reducing the clarity to give an overall softness beyond the center of the flower? Perhaps something similar to a Lens Baby effect.   Posted: 07/27/2025 17:47:00
Liked the repetition of patterns and depth in this striking architectural image. How long did you have to wait to get a clear unobstructed view of the mosque without people?Agree with others to crop left border because lights were a bit distracting.   Posted: 07/28/2025 01:37:31
