Howdy! hope you all are enjoying a wonderful Spring. My favorite flower is the Texas Bluebonnet. This image was taken a few weeks ago; the first one I saw this year. Taken with my phone; opened in snapseed, cropped and saved.

I think we call these "lupine" here in California, Ruth. I've always wanted to photograph a field of them (I think you did last year) but this one of a single cluster is also very nice against that green undistracting background. Posted: 04/06/2025 23:36:40
Nice flower - great purple color. I find the greenery a bit distracting - very busy and bright. Not much you could do in-camera to improve this. There are some opportunities in post to desatutrate/darken the green color. A vignette might help. Posted: 04/08/2025 08:26:45
