This image was taken last November at Amber Fort in India. This coffee shop has an image decorated on the walls that interested me.

Looks like a cool spot to sit and have coffee. I agree, the table and chairs add much to the interest. The angle is ideal.

Thanks for your comments, Susan! There were another table and chair that overlapped the base and leg of the chair, so I decided to crop them out. In addition, I am interested in the Indian design on the wall, especially the lacy curtains on the top more. To me, the image ratio would be disproportioned (too long) if the table base and the leg of the table were included. Do you agree? Posted: 01/07/2025 07:10:39

Agree with the comments above - creative photograph of an interesting scene! I wonder if it would look better or worse if it was a straight on photo of the table (with the background - but excluding the blue wall). Too bad there wasn't an interesting subject sipping coffee at the table! I also agree that including the table/chair legs might improve the image. At least I'd have tried to photograph the image that way - so you could decide if it looks better cropped or not. Or you could cheat and do it with AI . . . Posted: 01/03/2025 10:31:31

- Excluding the blue wall,the image will be a flat one and it won't look good. See my responses to Jack above.
- There were times when customers sitting to sip coffee on the table but their modern clothes and their carried bags totally changed the scene (in a bad way). I prefer this scene without customers more.

Kieh-Hanh,Like the composition with chairs and table.I agree with you about keeping the portion of the blue wall for the 3D effect.What about cropping a little tighter on the upper left corner? Posted: 01/15/2025 01:13:37
