About the Image(s)
This photo was taken on the Snake River at Oxbow Bend during a trip to the Grand Tetons in 2021. I was looking for reflection shots of the mountains in water and this location turned out to be great that particular morning. The photo was taken during an early morning sunrise, so shutter speed was 1/100, Aperture was 8 using a Canon 24-70mm f/4 lens at 74mm, with ISO at 1600. I used Lightroom for post processing and Topaz Denoise to reduce the noise.

WOW! This image is right after Peter's Norway image and both just blow me away at nature's beauty! Congrats on this wonderful image. Glad that you found such a great spot and executed perfectly. Mother Nature helped a tad by supplying that magnificent sunrise. Thanks for sharing... Get it printed sand hung. I would think it would look great on canvas.   Posted: 09/12/2023 10:15:58
So peaceful. Beautifully done. :-)   Posted: 09/24/2023 10:17:24
A superb image Gary, well done. I'm really pleased when photographers go out with a mission and plan in mind, rather than just shooting what pops up in front of them. Yes, Mother Nature did come to the party for this one, and you were there to greet her. Congratulations on a lovely peaceful and serene image.   Posted: 09/25/2023 03:10:54
Gary - great shot and I have been there with the same inspiration -   Posted: 09/29/2023 15:15:25
Wow! Stunning shot. There are a lot of similarities to Peter's shot yet a completely different feel. As Sherry mentioned... this deserves a prime spot on a wall. Curious on the low cloud in the left background. Simple stunning shot!   Posted: 09/29/2023 18:28:08
Great capture. Beautiful sunrise colors and the reflection. I've been Oxbow Bend to take the sunrise photos in Fall few years ago and it was very crowd and cold. Well done.   Posted: 09/30/2023 12:54:43
