Carol's favorite subject was PJ and sporting events, but the ones that she liked the best from those events were usually away from the action and so Human Interest. Favorite sports action was young kids soccer and the great expressions. She also like landscapes and infrared photography with a camera that we had had converted. Monochrome was favored more than color. She also used HRD. When she could find models she took portraits, like Dorian. Dorian's portraits were take for his senior pictures since his family could not afford a professional. It was really hard to select only ten images but here is my attempt. Carol also was an influence on other photographers, especially the high school students that she sponsored in the PSA and also camera club youth photo contest. One of the teachers had this to say about Carol's effort, "For many of my students, this contest and the excellent awards have been the first real recognition they've ever received in school, perhaps in their lives and this contest has been truly "life changing." Student's different behavior after the awards program has been noticeable. Their heads are held higher and they speak with a bit of authority when they talk about their work. It is one thing for me to tell them the work is good and quite something else and special when people like you acknowledge them. This will be a lasting legacy and so many of these students, for decades to come, will remember when they were told their work is worthy."
