On a rainy Spring day, I happened to notice the marvelous diffused light coming through my window. Seemed perfect for a moody still life.

I am Stu's wife and the administrator of group 48. He showed me your image and I took the liberty of making some changes for your consideration. First, I brightened the yarn a bit and cropped the image to appear as a panorama. I then found the background a bit bright so I played in Topaz Studio (which by the way is a free download and works wonders with Photoshop) and found a background that I thought might be a bit better.
