This is an optical illusion or at least I hope you can see that!!
Taken with my Canon R6, 24-70mm lens at 70mm. ISO 100, f/8 1/13sec
This is straight out of camera with only colours slightly brought out a bit more. Two pieces of coloured card placed at an angle on a black background and the ball placed on the edge.

Very creative again! Lovely bright colours and the shadow giving it 3 dimensional effect. I agree with Fred on the reflection...
I am not sure if the placement of the subjects and the black area on the left... they do not give the exact frame of your image and depth to the image. Wonder if a slightly less saturated black would do the trick?

Well done. As with several other comments regarding black backgrounds... I might suggest to add a grey or neutral border around the image to keep it inside.... not everyone likes the borders, but I do, and that's my opinion.... Posted: 05/14/2023 16:51:20
