About the Image(s)
This is the centerpiece of the main foyer at the Biltmore Mansion in Ashville, NC. After looking at the image, my brain started to wander - What if one of the skylights broke and a lot of rain came in - What about the bright sunlight always shining down – How would they protect the plants? Thus, the Umbrella. Other than the umbrella as a separate image, the balance was done with brushes, Rain, Fog, God Light, Sust and Soft Round, and the lights being brightened using an adjustment layer.

Another clever and well thought out image. I like the way the light beams create a triangle guiding you into the image and the lower areas making a dark vingnette to stop your eye going out of the image.   Posted: 05/02/2023 10:27:14
Well crafted composite...a little bit of light fall-off to the right bottom and perhaps a puddle of water with a reflection? Just my imagination running riot here!

It is interesting the combination and the thoughts. I think it is well done. I like the rain.   Posted: 05/11/2023 15:32:36
I like what you have done, with one exception.. I feel the bright blue skylight to be a distraction and competes with the pink umbrella...Maybe it could be darkened more so that it blends into the background ...   Posted: 05/14/2023 16:48:20

Hi Fred, I'm not sure I quite understand the idea, but that says more about me and my head cold. Anyway, I did a little work on it. I added a sunspot to the windows (radial gradient of RYW) and also selected the blue windows and added a curves adjustment to change the color a bit. Your compositing work is terrific.   Posted: 05/16/2023 11:26:34
