There were some mention of Mike Moats last month so I pulled out this image that was taken at one of his workshops. I guess you would consider this a closeup rather than a macro image. I just liked all the detail in the image and it is a unique subject. The hardest part was the lighting trying not to blow out the highlights and to come up with a pleasing yet interesting picture.

I really love this! The texture, the combination of colors, and the composition are all really working together to create a wonderful image.
