Like the composition and colors. Good to focus on the stamen (? This is correct term). Might have used a little smaller f stop for a bit more DOF. overall very nice   Posted: 12/13/2024 15:25:22

I like shots like this one that get closer in to use macro capabilities to show details in nature. They get closer to abstraction. I agree with Margaret on ideally getting more DOF - but maybe you actually wanted the softer texture.   Posted: 12/17/2024 23:08:52

now back to the ethereal Carol flowers... I like this. colors great yellow with just a dash of green. especially like that it looks like a unstacked macro... that minimalist stripe of focus - less focus just fades to background lending support to the one petal and stamen. I like the stamen on the 1/3 side. Indoor lighting, like a table near a window? love it.   Posted: 12/21/2024 23:31:21
