This photo was taken on 11/5/24 at the NYBotanical Garden for their Fall Kiku show. I used a Canon EOS R5 camera with an EF 100mm f2.8 macro lens. The specifics are 48 mb, f7.1, 1/60 of a second exposure.

very pretty flower and bright colors - maybe you are thinking Christmas colors here also :-). when I enlarged it I looked closer and to me it looks like the flower on the left is more in focus especially at the center and petals close to the center are more in focus than the right side flower. another time you could just do the one flower in closer - hard to get both flowers in focus and you did not stack. to me you presented the flower right as the dominant one, getting it in full face in the photo while the left one is cut of a bit - but then I think the left one has more crispness to it - so they are competing a little.   Posted: 12/21/2024 23:26:16
