Well composed and great subject! He looks so content now that he has been able to scratch that itch! You've captured the seal at the exact perfect moment. Eyes closed give that look of sheer pleasure! I've not used the 200-600 but it certainly is an impressive lens! Have you given in and gotten the A1-II? Several of my friends got it upon release...and Im not convinced I care about precapture...but they are pressuring me telling me Id be crazy not to get it!   Posted: 07/15/2025 18:25:29

Great shot, Peter. Excellent composition and great DOF. I think Sherry did a good job of describing the story it tells. My only minor suggestion, and this is just a personal preference thing on my part, is add a little vibrance to bring the color up a tad.
