About the Image(s)
Dawn at Boneyard Beach: This photograph was taken on Hunting Island, SC before sunrise. This beach was lined with driftwood trees making it a beautiful place to photograph landscapes. I lifted the shadows a little for this final image.

These are lovely colors. I always wanted to go there. I love the dawn version; most of the other photos I have seen have been daytime, focusing on the tree branches. The bird in the center tree is a nice addition. I might think about removing the far left branch, it doesn't seem to add much, in my opinion.   Posted: 04/12/2025 19:41:38
Nice, moody shot. Colors are lovely. Certainly wouldn't have been interesting without the dead trees. Love the crescent moon in the sky. Good for you to get up so early.
Agree with Judy that taking out the left-most snag wouldn't hurt, but it doesn't bother me either.   Posted: 04/13/2025 15:12:30

What beautiful first light colors! The dead trees give character to the image and the crescent moon really adds quite a bit, even if it such a small portion of the image. The "s" of the water coming to shore add addiotnal texture that I find pleasing. Lving near a beach, it is rare to get such smooth "waves" coming in and I love what it adds to the image. I also agree with removing the one branch.
Overall a very nice image, Sarita!   Posted: 04/13/2025 18:49:39
