Another favorite location of mine. Love the editing, the light, and the contrast of the rock and sand. The knarly bark of the tree goes well with the craggy granite of the rock.   Posted: 11/10/2024 21:29:02

You caught a perfect time of day for this. Good shot of a tree in the foreground, but if there were any other trees around, it might have been better to have chosen one without a saw-cut limb.   Posted: 11/10/2024 22:26:51

Didn't even notice that, but there aren't a lot of choices out there. Only a few are able to hang on in the harsh, dry climate. Thanks for visiting.   Posted: 11/10/2024 23:19:42

Perfect timing! I love how you have created so much depth in this photograph with the tree in the foreground, the various layers of rocks and the sunset in the background. The clouds are the cherry on top!   Posted: 11/15/2024 20:10:43

A beautiful image Leslie . The tree is perfectly placed in the image and I always wondered how trees can survive growing on rocks. I first saw this phenomenon in AZ. I love the lighting, the layers, and the starkness of the area. ! Beautiful image.   Posted: 11/27/2024 03:01:59
