About the Image(s)
I captured this image in Luzerne Switzerland last fall. There were so many street scenes, I chose this one to enter because I found the look on the woman's face intriguing. It could be impatience, boredom or what? All post processing was done in LR. I cropped and straightened the image and sharpened it. Camera Canon R6 ii, Tamron 28-300 at 76mm, ISO 640m 1/100 second, f8.0.

Great street capture-this image tells a quiet yet relatable story of daily life. The composition is strong with the woman and stroller well-placed, framed naturally by the storefront and signage, which also adds context and interest. The muted tones and overcast light work well here, though a subtle lift in contrast or midtone clarity could enhance separation between subject and background. The reflection in the shop window adds a nice layer of depth without being distracting. Well observed and executed!   Posted: 04/02/2025 10:43:36
