About the Image(s)

This photo, taken at ISO 51200, 60mm focal length, f/5.6 aperture, and a shutter speed of 1/400s, captures an intimate moment between a couple against the backdrop of a classic candy store. What I love most about this image is the juxtaposition of the couple’s modern, carefree energy with the timeless simplicity of the storefront. During post-processing, I converted the photo to black and white with a faded sepia tone, adding a "vintage artsy" feel that enhances the nostalgic atmosphere and makes the scene feel like a moment from a different era.

This is an amazing capture of a street scenery with some pictorial post processing. The window let us to know where the image was taken. The couple kissing is matching the idea of "sweet" that we have from the place. The phone in the hand of the man it makes all the story. We wonder if he is looking at it instead dedicating all the attention to his partner.

A great image

It's amazing that you have captured this "Classic Southern" couple by the sweet store. Perhaps the man is trying to take a selfie. The sepia tones fit this photo perfectly. It looks a bit like a scene from a Western movie. I hope you put this photo in a competition.   Posted: 02/15/2025 11:32:31
