About the Image(s)
Taken on the beach of Saint Jean de Luz last November. I thought at first this was for “love” then I saw them to re do it later recording again the scenery. Maybe it was for both….

This is a beautifully composed image with a strong storytelling element. The black-and-white treatment enhances the mood, emphasizing textures and contrasts in the sand, waves, and subjects. The positioning of the two figures creates a sense of connection and curiosity, making the viewer wonder about the scene unfolding.
One minor refinement-consider increasing the contrast slightly on the figures to help them stand out more against the sand. This would add a bit more depth and ensure they remain the focal point of the composition. Nicely done!   Posted: 02/09/2025 13:59:19

I like how the black and white image makes the waves stand out more. Looks like a "love letter in the sand." The picture gives a sense of the vast shoreline also. I like this photo. It definitely tells a story - and probably invites the viewer to visit St Jean de Luz.   Posted: 02/15/2025 11:29:07
Great image Michele. You have captured some action that is easily identifiable and the scenery is beautiful. I think that Keisha's comment to increase the contrast is a good suggestion. I think that they are doing it for both :)   Posted: 02/15/2025 23:32:16
Thank you Lou and Susan, for taking the time to look and comment on my image. I took the suggestion of both of you and Keisha, and have increased contrast for the two "lovers" and it works better.
Have a great Sunday
