This photo, taken with settings of ISO 12800, 35mm, f/1.8, and 1/800s, captures the vibrant energy of a bar in downtown Nashville. The city is known for its lively nightlife and venues with wide-open windows, allowing passersby to peek into the action. I took this shot from the street, looking in at a crowd that was fully immersed in the music. The scene is filled with animated expressions and movement, highlighting the excitement and joy of the partygoers as they danced and sang along to the house beats.
With the low light, I really struggled with the higher ISO and trying to get enough light. In post-processing, I worked to adjust for the high ISO and low-light conditions to bring out the best details while balancing noise and clarity.

Hello Keisha, I think that this is a wonderful photo. I love the composition and the lighting. The way that you have captured the women up front does really highlight the party atmosphere. I think that you handled the high ISO very well, the image is great.   Posted: 12/07/2024 23:47:31

This goes to show that high ISO not an issue. Tells a story and is an interesting street shot. We can almost feel the music. I wish you had incuded the original.   Posted: 12/08/2024 18:43:05

Keisha, this is a great image that tells a story. The eye easily recognize the women are the subject and they are excited about the music. We see just the lower part of the body of the person on stage, but it doesn't matter because we know he or they are able to create excitement. Everything else in the image is just help to understand where it has been taken and does not create distractions. Great work.
