About the Image(s)
I traveled to Copenhagen a couple of years ago and enjoyed many opportunities for street photography. I captured this image with my Canon R5, Tamron 28-300mm lens, f/9.0, 1/160 second, ISO 400. I quickly grabbed the photo and the original is not all I had hoped for. Fortunately the changes were straightforward, in Lightroom, I cropped the image to focus more on the subject and to eliminate distracting items. I thought the image was slightly under exposed so I corrected that but also slightly darkened the top 1/3 of the image which I thought was too bright and distracting.

IMHO the image is way under exposed. You corrected that very well. I like the color of the bicycle gal as it really makes the picture. Your crop helps tell the story. Good work.

Lou, this is very nice street scenery. I like the way you cropped the image and agree it helps to make the story clearer. However, I like the original one more for the soft focus of the people and the objects in the background. In the final one, I think you may have oversharpen the image.

Thanks for the comments Michele. I have a habit of over sharpening, I need to be aware of that.   Posted: 11/07/2024 23:10:18
