I just love how this photo bursts with energy-it really makes the whole scene come alive! The way the drummer and the dancer up front are connecting is so cool; you can practically feel the excitement and intensity between them just from their body language and expressions. The bright reds and greens in their outfits really pop against the softer background, so your eyes go straight to the action. And the crowd around them adds such a nice layer, making it feel like a big community moment, everyone sharing in the fun. Honestly, the timing and composition capture such a lively, celebratory vibe.   Posted: 11/05/2024 16:53:00

Thank you Keisha for taking the time to look at the image and share your thoughts. It was a special event and I was asked to attend from a friend for taking pictures. I have several of that day but this one is one of my favorites.
best wishes

Hey we got action! Great capture. Not a negative thing it is only a personal thing and I feel your original is better than the cropped version which is a little tight.   Posted: 11/05/2024 18:37:09

Hi Chuck,
thank you for your compliments and for sharing your thoughts about cropping. I have been back and forward regarding cropping this image. At the end I decided for a tighter crop to emphasize the connection between the drummer and the dancer. I also wanted to take away the sewer in the foreground that to me create some distraction. Maybe a midway would work too.

Great shot no matter how you crop it, or which emphasis you choose. The cropping might depend, for a photo show, on what images you surround this one with.   Posted: 11/10/2024 22:43:45

Hi Michele,
I really enjoyed looking at this photo. The action is great.
With cropping, you could crop out the sewer and maybe tilt the photo slightly, so that you don't chop off the drummer's shoes?
It is a fun photo - great shot.   Posted: 11/19/2024 23:36:38

Hi Michele,
I think that this is a great photo, I love the action. I too find the sewer distracting, I think you could clone it out and avoid the need to crop so tight.   Posted: 11/20/2024 20:44:44
