About the Image(s)
These are lily pads in a murky pond. I thought it would look better with three lily pads. I duplicated one of them, resized it and added it as a layer. I cleaned up a lot of specks in the water, and deepened the color of the water. I was going for an “otherworldly” look.
I found them at a local park on Long Island. I also came home with 2 tick bites! Next time I use bug spray.
I use On1 software for editing. If anyone is interested in trying it, PSA offers a discount.
I used my Nikon Z50 with the Z 28-400mm lens.
Focal length 320 mm

Stunning colours - the 3 lily pads works perfectly and the way they are positioned.
Its a striking image, love it - would make a great print

Thanks! I'm thinking about printing it on metal.   Posted: 08/07/2026 21:08:45
oh that would be stunning - you must share once you have done it   Posted: 08/08/2026 06:21:37
The saturation of the colors on the lily pads make them pop. The composition of the leaves and stems making an M helps lead the eye through the image. Very artistic and would look great on metal.   Posted: 08/08/2026 15:45:34

Beautiful. The colors and composition are great. Yes, print on metal. I think that would turn out very well.   Posted: 08/09/2026 20:57:26
