This is a pair of bee eaters sitting on top of termite mound which I shot in India. Nikon Z8, 1/500 sec at f9, 600mm, ISO 800 with +1. Processed in PS for contrast and such, sharpened in Topaz.

This is beautiful. The birds are so sharp, the colors lovely. The detail of the feathers is amazing! I love the way they are looking in opposite directions, and the soft background. My only suggestion would be to darken the termite mound. Because it is so light, it's the first thing you see and distracts from the birds. Posted: 07/01/2026 17:23:34
