While I was watching my granddaughter's horseback riding lesson, a bobcat was walking through the corrals stalking ground squirrels. The bobcat was backlit and the grass in front was bright.
Post-processing- Lightroom
I reduced the highlights and increased shadows. I cropped out the horse corrals.

Immediately my eyes were drawn to his eyes. So clear and focused! Even though the background colors are similar to the bobcat's the bobcat stands out. He is very intent! Nice shot and welcome to the group. Posted: 12/12/2025 10:39:55
How lucky to see a bobcat so clearly. I would brighten it up a bit and perhaps add some texture to the fur. For your personal use, I would darken the foreground grass. Posted: 12/17/2025 00:23:44
