About the Image(s)

This was taken at a wildlife refuge outside of Las Vegas. There was a white tree limb on the ground, and hundreds of ants all over it. I took several pictures and cropped this one down to showcase the 3 on the diagonal.
I used my Nikon Z50 with a 50-259mm lens.
I used On1 photo editing software to enhance the picture, crop, sharpen ants, blur background a little, add vignette.
I liked how the ants stood out against the white background. The texture of the log almost looked like it could be the moon surface.
