About the Image(s)

I had a delightful three days in the Merritt Wildlife area. Most of the birding was from the car which helped me keep the camera steady!

Wow, Ginny! That's an amazing capture of the opsrey in flight! If this was my image, I'd move the bird to the left side of the frame to make it look like it's soaring through the sky. On my monitor, the bird looks a bit dark, so I might lighten it up a bit. I wish I had this image in my files! Great job, Ginny!   Posted: 01/08/2025 12:43:26

Hi Ginny. It's not easy to capture this flying bird from the car. But, you got it right. Nice shot.   Posted: 01/08/2025 18:39:56

Beautiful soaring bird. I would crop the left and maybe some from the bottom. Then add some canvas to the right so it looks like it has room to fly. I would also lighten the bird a little. Do you use Topaz Photo AI? It does an incredible job denoising, sharpening and upscaling.
I'm kind of addicted to editing other's photos. I hope you don't mind, but I played with it. Not saying it's better, just a little different. If you prefer that I don't do this please just tell me.   Posted: 01/09/2025 19:39:15

No, I appreciate the comments and suggestions. I to not have Topaz nor do I have your skills - need to find a class! Like your changes.   Posted: 01/12/2025 14:08:18

Great capture of the Osprey in flight. You caught the perfect wing position. I really like the sun coming through the wing. I agree with the others that the bird should be to the left a bit instead of centered.   Posted: 01/20/2025 17:21:59
