In my 30's I raised tropical fish. Won awards and awards for breeding. It was the gift of an Arowana that ended my relationship with fish. He was so smart and I had to feed him live fish that I gave up the hobby.

Your image is great. Love the bubbles and the background that compliments the fish. That mouth opens like a troop carrier!   Posted: 12/05/2024 00:41:23

Hey Frans, wow, that's an incredible image! Thanks a bunch for sharing the fascinating natural history of this species. That's super interesting. If I'm interpreting this correctly, the fish jumped out of the water to catch the dragonfly. I'm not sure how you managed to capture this shot, but it's absolutely amazing. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!   Posted: 12/10/2024 15:10:49

The fish is so crisp and clear, and the background is nicely blurred. The water drops add interest. Amazing picture.   Posted: 12/21/2024 01:34:59
