About the Image(s)

I had a good time creating a photo for my Facebook Holiday Post. I started with a simple image of an arctic fox I took last January. Then, I got creative and started playing with the image. The fox doesn’t look like an arctic fox anymore, but that wasn’t the goal. I’m happy with the results because I learned a lot along the way. I hope you enjoy the image too. Mostly, I want to wish you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season!

The work behind the image began in Lightroom, then I added layers in Photoshop and used generative AI to create the holiday hat, ornaments, snow, and tree. This is the first time I’ve used AI, and I had a great time. Is it photography? I’m not the judge. Maybe I’ll call it photo art. Of course, I wouldn’t pass this off as an untouched image and wouldn’t expect anyone to think of it as such.
