Nice image and the people really add a lot of interest.

I don't think you are getting too much from the upper left and I suggest seeing what cropping in from there would do. By doing this you would get rid of the houses in the upper center which are bright enough to draw the eye away from the main subject area.   Posted: 07/03/2026 20:11:08

I like how the black sand beach looks black (sometimes the images of the black sand beaches don't look black at all).

I wonder how it would have looked if you had flown a little lower to capture more detail in the waves breaking across the rocks and in the details of the trees. I have a desire to see more detail in those areas.

I agree with Pete about the spots of color being distracting. Perhaps you could remove them, too, but cropping would also remove the brown soil area in the upper right, as well as the other areas he mentioned.   Posted: 07/04/2026 21:25:14

Hi Alex, looks like a beautiful location to visit. The image does portrait the beauty of this place with the water on one side the beach in the middle and the trees. The people give a good sense of perspective. I would like to see more of beach and waqter and less of the trees. Perhaps cropping or another image closer in to the image center.   Posted: 07/14/2026 00:10:11
