Excellent golden hour image, well done Alex. The image has an abstract quality that makes use of texture and shadows; as the sky is not shown, the sense of scale is lost and for me not needed. The image has a diagonal flow right to left. Posted: 12/03/2025 15:43:01

Cropping down from the top might have emphasized the arch more.
Love the light. I have flown there several times but never tried a shot without the sky. I think your approach is interesting and original, and I will have to try it sometime. Note Boot Arch, about a mile north, might be another good subject for a future trip. Posted: 12/05/2025 05:15:00

Hi Alex, I think this is a great image, I love the shadows and the warm colors. I like that it has no sense of scale. If the arch is the intended subject I don't think it stands our well enough, perhaps Pete's cropping suggestion might help with that. Posted: 12/07/2025 23:04:45
