About the Image(s)

The Pennsylvania Military Museum is located in Boalsburg, PA, near where I live in State College. Right now, it is closed for renovations until sometime next year. The park around the museum is open, and there are monuments and military vehicles for people to check out.

I actually haven't ever been inside this museum, which is strange for me, since I go to museums all over the place, big, small, weird, and unknown. Hopefully it'll be open soon.

While I was there flying the drone, there was a couple women walking around with 2 young boys and I showed them the drone. They were so cute and so interested. I wish I would have recorded them better as I was showing them the drone, but what I did record I put on the video link if you want to look at it.

Cute kids! They always seem to be interested in drones. I was in a park this summer when I lowered and caught the drone near a couple of kids. I was willing to let them hold the controller while they raised and turned the drone, but their mother would not let them. Perhaps she was afraid of their begging her to buy them one! :)

Nice documentary capture of the museum. I like the straight-on view better than the overhead view in the original. I would recommend not warming up the colors quite so much, though; the sky and the grass have taken on a bit of an unnatural color.   Posted: 12/03/2025 18:51:47

Nice image, good exposure and colors. Perhap wait until the lone child on the far right edge is not in the image? The lower perspective is definitely better

Love the tank...a 1950s or 60s era M-48 or M-60.   Posted: 12/04/2025 21:03:40

Looks like an interesting place to visit. This is a colorful image and the crop looks good with just enough sky. I like the inclusion of the passerbys.   Posted: 12/05/2025 21:07:14

Hi Lisa, a very nice image. This perspective shows that just because a photographer has a drone they don't have to always take a top down view. I like the saturation but I agree with Drema that the sky seems a bit unnatural.   Posted: 12/07/2025 22:51:23
