About the Image(s)

I was having lunch in an outdoor restaurant in Merida, a few months ago when a pair of huge round eyes attracted my attention. A local cat who had mastered the fine art of begging was asking for a cut of my food. I managed to get a shot of him, with an iPhone 16 pro max, just before he dashed off to a more accommodating table. The goal of my processing was to create fine art portrait of the cat that emphasized those eyes. I cropped the image in Lightroom Classic, then upsized, denoised and sharpened it in Topaz A1. Back in LRC I masked and darkened the gate in the background, and made basic tonal adjustments. I also converted the image to monochrome in NIK 8 Silver Efex. Suggestions for moving closer to my goal will be much appreciated.
