About the Image(s)

In April this year trees were budding. It was a joyous time of renewal and I experimented with ICM (intentional camera movement) to capture the excitement. Shown is a red bud tree.

Canon EOS R10; aperture priority, f 16, 1/8 sec; ISO 100
Canon RF 18-150 lens at zoomed

Processing was all in Lightroom Classic and included a crop, removal of a few branches, tonal and texture adjustments, and a dark vignette.

Fascinating image. The ICM looks like a zoom. I don't know if you did this deliberately, but i see the head f a man with arrows being shot at him, in the crotch of the tree. I mined your image for illustrative purposes.   Posted: 07/08/2025 00:27:53

Peter, I did not see the tree Sprite until I began to process the image. But it is there indeed. My interpretation of the zoomage lines is that it reflects wild music to which the Sprite is dancing. I am glad that you see him too.
