About the Image(s)
About: I converted my June submission and did not like the results, so I. deleted all BW versions and went to work on other images. The other original was taken at Thunder Hole, in Acadia National Park, about twenty minutes before high tide. As the tide comes in the water swirls around the hole in the rocks. At very high tides the swirling water sound like a large waterfall and will squirt up about five feet or more. (Unless I had a waterproof camera, I would not take pictures with my lens pointing down.)
In making this composite I used a sandwich technique. I placed the musicians between two layers of the water. This technique gives me more flexibility in blending. e.g. I wanted to darken some parts of the image, so I set the top layer to multiply and masked out the areas I wanted to leave alone. all comments appreciated.
