About the Image(s)
Eve in the Garden is a composite. The original background is part of a cut flower arrangement sent to us by relatives for the holidays. I photographed it with a Nikon Z7 and Nikkor 24-120 mm f/4S lens at 32 mm. Exposure was ISO 800, 1/15 second, f/11. I mounted a 75 mm Chinese cut glass suncatcher in filter adapter rings. The multifaceted result needed a Subject so I used the flowers to frame a head shot of Playmate Holley that I made in my much younger years. Post processing included cropping, exposure adjustment and local burning in PS Elements.

What fun, Karl. That is certainly a nice way to preserve a couple of happy memories. I can see using that with another person's image as a personalized greeting card.   Posted: 01/08/2025 05:32:44

A lovely composite, and so beautifully edited. The sharp features of the model contrast very effectively with the dreamy, slightly blurred flowers.   Posted: 01/19/2025 23:35:36

I'd have to say she is a bit self-centered, lol. Actually this is a well done composite, and your idea of the frame is creative. Eve, as in Genesis, Eve in the Garden?   Posted: 01/20/2025 16:57:54
