About: I cannot find orig1, which is a plain flower. Original2 is a processed close <1/4 of a baboon, Orig3 is a composite of orig1 and a snapshot of a street lady pushing a shopping cart. For that image I stretched and smudged the flowers and blurred the lady. For the final, I converted the smudged flower to BW in On1 effects, wrinkled the flower at the top by over sharpening a small area, combined it with the baboon, selected the small wrinkled area, placed it on a new layer and converted the new layer to a smart object; played around and lowered the transparency of the object at various places and placed it on the baboon's chest to give it some texture. Did some cleanup and spot adjustments. The title came when finished. All comments appreciated.

Interesting composite. I like the sharpness of the face and the pink tongue against the blurred monochrome. I do not see how the face is related to the feathery background, and I do not understand how the woman and cart are related to the image as they do not appear in the final.   Posted: 11/09/2024 21:22:21

You are correct. The cart lady has nothing to do with the presented image. The original was some flowers. In the first iteration I oversharpened a small portion of the flower petals and enlarged them so that the striations were much further apart. I did not save the striations so the version with the cart was the closest I had. It was included just to show that they were used as a texture and the baboon's body was not used at all. I hope that I have clarified my intent.   Posted: 11/09/2024 22:43:13

You are having too much fun. This is like "The Scream" with a baboon!   Posted: 11/19/2024 20:46:07
