Canon R5, 100 mm Macro lens, focus stacked as usual.
I had to take an image from a year ago as I've not yet found accessible subjects to my liking in my new home area. My new area appears to offer a nice collection of landscapes, but they all seem to be be visible only from narrow roads where it is unsafe to park a car. To take them, I need to buy a bicycle so that I can park my car (with bike) in a safe place and cycle to a good shooting location. Eventually this will get done.

Oh, I think this is my favorite of your focus stacked images! And so excited its with the gear I own! Can't wait to recover from my bicycle accident and try it!
Wow! It's almost like a fireworks explosion! Super crisp, clean and the green background looks great against the shades of blue. There is a tiny leaf at the bottom...kinda distracting...will wait for others to weigh in on the tiny leaf, as its also kinda cute!
I also like that you have a little angle on this, it fills the frame and adds a diagonal to add even more interest.
Sorry to hear you haven't found the perfect spots in your new 'hood, but I'm excited we might enjoy some landscapes from you!

Nice image. It kind of reminds me of the image I submitted this month: kind of a star-burst. My image is also focus stacked. I think your image could use either a bit more negative space or be cropped way in. Two opposite ideas but never the less I like it. Posted: 07/09/2024 14:58:33
