About the Image(s)
From my flower garden this spring. A standard focus stacked image. The original was slightly cropped, slightly sharpened, and slight changes were made to intensities. I was intrigued by how interesting this almost totally green seemed to me.
Curiously, processing this for B&W produced an image that felt like something was missing. In color, even though it is monochrome, doesn't feel that way to me.

The greenery is beautiful! As always, you done a great job in photo stacking, making the subject look crisp and sharp. The only thing I think can make your subject pop more is darkening your background a little.   Posted: 08/03/2026 18:20:13
Love it, the edges of the leaves create a beautiful and interesting white-ish outline.
My only suggestion is to take a peek at your other images you stacked and see if you have the bottom of the leaves of the bottom "flower" that are cropped off.
Very beautiful with three groupings of leaves. What is the name of the plant?

I love the green color, the subject is so sharp and crisp! I'd love to know what camera settings were used. I really like the smooth background blur and the sense of depth in it. Thanks for your sharing.   Posted: 08/11/2026 01:25:53
Canon R5, Canon Macro 100 mm, shot with ISO=100, f/2.8, 1/320 sec., using tripod. Converted from raw to Tif using Canon Digital Pro Professional, focus stacked using Helicon Focus, processed with Digital Light and Color program named Picture Window Pro.   Posted: 08/11/2026 16:56:21
