I took this photo of the Fengshun Fire Dragon while celebrating the Lunar New Year in Guangdong this January. It was raining that day, but the downpour couldn't dampen anyone's spirits??”the energy in the air was incredible.
Settings: Sony, 1/125s, f/22, ISO 640. In Camera Raw, I used the auto-settings as a base, enhanced the shadows on the crowd with a brush tool to bring out their expressions, and did a tight crop.

This is a very good image. I love shooting fireworks! I do think you cropped it too close. I edited your original image, removed the water spots on the lens and added a vignette which I think gives it a more abstract look. Posted: 07/12/2026 15:11:11
