About the Image(s)
The original also taken with iPhone 14 pro. Since it was taken in winter time and not too many colors in this image so I used Nik Sliver Efex preset for 2nd image with small adjustment to present it as mono image.
I love trees, especially trees in winter when all leaves are gone. I think leafless trees can stir up soul searching and they are beautiful too.

I really like it, Jean! I think your choice of filters to add to the cold, alone, silent tree is heightened.
Removing the additional tree and junk at the bottom were great choices!   Posted: 02/03/2025 03:02:58

I like the feeling generated by the monotone treatment. The ends of the branches seem to be thinner in the processed image than in the original. How did you do this?   Posted: 02/08/2025 02:15:44
I used Nik Collection 7 one of the Silver Efex presets with few adjustments. Here is the link to this product site: https://nikcollection.dxo.com/
Check it out. I think you can download for free trial.
I learned about this tool few years back from the instructor of image EVAL course (PSA). It is a powerful tool and I only knew few of them and still exploring.   Posted: 02/08/2025 18:35:26

I really like this. I love the way you have made this look like one of the old-time gelatin silver print. I wouldn't change anything.   Posted: 02/09/2025 15:37:08

I really liked this photo and your post-processing work. The original was nice, but your edits have transformed it into a great image. The subtle sepia treatment adds a nice touch, enhancing the overall feel.   Posted: 02/14/2025 03:55:59

Thanks! Your revision is nice but I would change color and tonality to BW only and darken the background so snow will be visible.   Posted: 02/16/2025 16:53:11
