About the Image(s)
Original was taken with iPhone 14 Pro Macro mode.
2nd image (water color version) was post processed with PS.
I took many flowers images with my Canon and iPhone(s). I found this ordinary, frequently unnoticed, stepped on, and removed (by gardeners) beauty while I was walking around my neighborhood so I took the shot with my iPhone. These days iPhone produces great image just as good as traditional photo gears. I have Canon Mark IV and 3 Lenses but no Macro lenses. It’s getting too heavy for me to carry around so I pretty much use my iPhone 16 Pro these days.
iPhone includes camera detail of this image as: exposure: 1/1900s at f/2.2 (auto), ISO: 50; focal length 2.2mm Focal Length in 35mm: 24.0mm.

Feel free to share a title or ask for a title for your image.
It would be great if you would explain your processing to get your pretty watercolor (and your future images). I'd love to try it.
A couple of thoughts: Love love love the image overall. However, the top ends abruptly with some dark coloration. If it were mine, I'd use the clone tool at 50% or so opacity to blur the dark lines at the top.
I also found the unexpected spots of light blue in your image as not fitting in (and not in the original?). So you might consider cloning them out also.
Remember that our eye will always go to the lightest color, so the white dots, especially those at the bottom of the image, may be distracting viewers from looking at your subject. You might consider erasing or cloning them also.
We'd love to know if you compete with your images, and if so, what categories you'd be entering (and what rules you need us to comment on).
We are excited to have you join us!

TItle: Beauty in the eye of the beholder
I post this AI generative fill process image for comment/discussion. I used Adobe "Generative Fill Painting Actions ver 2" to generate this water color image from the original. This tool can generate water color, oil painting, pencil sketch, and cartoon vector Illustration. Prior to using this tool, I modified the original using Nik Viveze to adjust color/tone, use PS Generative Expand, then, apply water color action and select one of the 60% color of the original output. The action will produce several outputs you can select and discard.
If I compete with these images, I would use the original for Flower categories. If I want to use any AI tool for post processing, I properly will make different presentation for Creative category.

Thanks for the camera details which I will need to learn how to capture. I also love how you infuse the AI technology into your process to enhance the image's visual impact.
I do hope PSA will allow some form of emerging technology in the future. Your images are beautifully inspiring Jean. Welcome to the group.   Posted: 01/22/2025 00:09:21
