The Fort Worth Japanese Garden, located approximately 50 miles from my place, Texas, spans 7.5 acres and features cherry trees, Japanese maples, magnolias, bamboo, scenic bridges, and serene ponds filled with koi fish.
In the fall, the foliage transforms into vibrant golden hues, offering a picturesque setting for autumn photography.

I like the leaf colors and patterns of the fallen leaves as well as the hint of blue in the water. I'd like it still more if the drooping fronds on the right were less dominant. Posted: 01/02/2025 14:56:15

It looks like a beautiful park! I do love the golden hues you have highlighted.I find myself looking for the subject. One of the hanging branches on the right is bright green, and my eye goes there. And the curbing around the large tree is bright, and attracts my eye. The water is a little dark in the center of the image, I wish a duck or two were there and would make a nice subject.

Beautiful fall color photo and nice crop from Ed. For experiment, I used cropped version, applied Nik Color Efex "Cool Sunlight" preset with slight adjustment and made a kind of 'dramatic' look out of your original image. Posted: 01/16/2025 20:08:00
It is a beautiful fall photo, I remind me the fall season on Minnesota. I agree with Brenda's idea, if there is a subject/bird/animal in the lake, the meaning will make more alive. It is just my personal idea. It is a beautiful photo, especially if I enlarge this photo and nag it in the living room for viewing, the whole scenery will be very spectacular as if I can walk into this picture.
