About the Image(s)
This is a focus stack, but taken hand held with my Canon R5 using the Canon 100 mm macro lens.
Ginko trees are reputed to drop most of their leaves on one particular night. I got to this tree after the synchronized leaf fall, A few leaves remained, enabling me to take this shot. It took quite a few tries before the air remained still during the 10 seconds required to build the focus stack. The stems on the leaves makes them highly sensitive breeze indicators.

Spectacular! I love the chocolate background against the golds of the leaves. Three is the perfect number. Again, you are really the master of focus stacking!
Crisp, well-lit, great composition, great colors. Bravo!   Posted: 01/07/2025 16:49:27

I like Ed's removal of the shadow around the branches.   Posted: 01/14/2025 21:28:36

It is a beautiful photo. I love light a lot. If there is anything to be picky about, I would try to find the interaction between sunlight and the flowers.   Posted: 01/19/2025 05:01:08
