About the Image(s)
Took this image at the Serengeti National Park of a solitary and pensive lion that had the scar of
a huge but healed wound on his back and side that conjured a story and images in my mind of a rather violent battle that he had fought.
Shot the image with my Sony A7III; settings were f6.3, 1/1000 s, ISO 1000, @241 mm.
Processed in Adobe Photoshop. Cropped then used ACR to adjust exposure, vibrance. contrast and color. Used the Remove tool to get rid of some of the distracting brush on his body and
face.

Maria, being the King of the Jungle - Africa has its cost. The wound most of the times are created when they are hunting specially horned animals, or when defending its alfa position in the wild. Here he has a calm body position. Good colors. Sharp. Posted: 12/07/2025 23:55:00

Maria, yes a simple story about the realism of Africa. He looks a senior gent. And certainly been in the wars whilst hunting. I like the colours of your edited image - believable. My prefer would be for just a little more space to the right for him to stare into. Posted: 12/12/2025 18:28:11
