About the Image(s)

I took this photo on Sep. 18, 2025, with my Sony Alpha 1, with a 300 mm prime lens and a 1.4x teleconverter for an effective focal length of 420 mm. The settings were 1/2000 s, f/4.0, ISO 500. The Egret looks still, but was actually shaking its head (and the fish) back-and-forth very quickly.
