About the Image(s)
Bodnant Garden is a large garden owned by the National Trust, in North Wales. We visited it again last week, and I took this photo (again! ??“ it’s an attractive scene, I think) of the Pin Mill and its lily pond outside.

I would crop the top bit of small clouds. I might try a little more contrast.   Posted: 07/16/2025 22:21:36
A charming image with beautiful symmetry in the pond and building. I agree with Don about the clouds. I suggest an even more savage crop say one third down so all the blue sky was omitted and that to me puts more emphasis on the real subject. I like the nice long tonal range.   Posted: 07/18/2025 03:34:26
The tones are well adjusted to allow the white building to stand out. The highlights of the building's reflection could be lightened to create a path to lead the eye to the building.   Posted: 07/19/2025 21:53:43
That is a great point Jerry makes. Never in a million years would I have thought to lighten the reflection to create a leading line. It is far better to share such ideas rather than to keep them to yourself as they benefit everyone and are the very essence to our belonging and participation in this group. Thanks jerry.   Posted: 07/22/2025 08:01:11
