About the Image(s)
The iconic Singapore Helix bridge taken from the waters edge next to the bridge. Probably a better color image, but I needed a monochrome and find it to not be all that bad for that. Shot with a Panasonidc GH5 with a 12-60 lens on the micro 4/3 mirrorless camera at 1/250 sec, f/18 ISO 300at 12mm on a tripod. The setup was chosen to capture the starbursts. No unusual processing,, this was intended for Photo Travel.

What a fascinating bridge. I think you've found a great vantage point to show it off in its environment. The short focal length has emphasized the perspective very well. Super!   Posted: 07/08/2025 21:40:29
Wow, what a great image. I like the leading line and the sharpness of the image.   Posted: 07/16/2025 22:19:30
I really like the dynamic contrast and the quality of the image. It has come up great in mono and strongly emphasizes the key elements. Composition works well with the lead in from the spirals. You say 'Probably a better color image'....it must be good as this one is impressive.   Posted: 07/18/2025 03:27:31
The bridge is spectacular and the stars definitely add to the spiral patterns. The tall building on the opposite shore provides a destination, but is a bit of a scene stealer. there's not much that could be done about that though. The strong black and white contrast in the scene is very well done.   Posted: 07/19/2025 21:47:27
