This image is very busy and feels dark and muddy. Is there some portion that could stand on its own. Perhaps the railing along the waterway or the roof.   Posted: 03/14/2025 13:10:14
All the lines especially those on the roof make this great subject matter for mono and have quite a lot of impact. I totally agree with Jerry. Inclusion of more of the left showing all the steps and a landing at the top would lead the viewer from the bottom up then off to the right along the top walkway which I think would be a stronger composition.   Posted: 03/15/2025 20:15:31

Since the eye is attracted to the lines and their perpendicular opposition, I would crop vertically to focus on the linear aspect and remove the extraneous stuff at the sides. Not really a very attactive building to me anyway.   Posted: 03/15/2025 20:57:34
You found a good subject, but the thingss around the interesting part of the building, curved roof and glass particularly are busy. I am wondering if there was a place to stand that would get all of this and allow keeping some other things out. Yes, the image is dark, but I think that is fine, the contrast between pictue elements is good with one exception. the vegetation through the window under the roof start to blend with the main subject of the image, that great roof that is what probably attacked your attenion.   Posted: 03/31/2025 00:11:16
